Panama City Tour
A few years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Panama and visit some of its most famous tourist attractions. One of the experiences I enjoyed the most was my visit to the Casco Viejo of Panama City, the Panama Canal and the Mirador Chino.
I started my day by visiting Casco Viejo, also known as the Old Town of Panama. This historic neighborhood is a true architectural gem, with cobblestone streets and colonial buildings dating back to the 17th century. I loved walking through its narrow streets and discovering its squares, churches and museums.
One of the obligatory stops in the Old Town is the Plaza de Francia, where the Monument to the French is located, in honor of the French engineers and workers who participated in the construction of the Panama Canal at the end of the 19th century. From there, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
