Creole Rock

Creole Rock is off the coast of Sint Maarten, accessible only by boat (unless you're a really good swimmer!). It is one of the best places in St. Maarten to go snorkeling. Be sure to snorkel in the shallower areas around the big rock formations. You'll see all sorts of species of fish. Unfortunately, there isn't too much of a coral reef around here, but St. Maarten isn't known as one of the great spots in the Caribbean for coral reef/snorkeling. This is one of your best options if you're staying on the island and you'd like to see some fish. Watch out for sea urchins!
