Turístico pero agradable

Este parque está cerca de Port Elizabeth y es una reserva privada no muy grande pero donde se pueden ver muchos de los animales de la sabana, incluyendo los leones. Generalmente, la visita al parque Schotia se combina con la del Parque de Addo, es una de las visitas más clásicas y populares de la zona.

De hecho, la sensación es la de visitar una especie de zoo sin jaulas, porque el parque es pequeño y es más seguro para poder ver todos los animales. Sin embargo, siempre está muy bien encontrarse a una distancia corta de los leones, rinocerontes o jirafas y en general es una experiencia agradable y divertida, gracias también a la profesionalidad y la competencia del personal del parque.


Normalmente al final de la visita se organiza una gran cena con fogata y los chicos que tocan la guitarra, todo bañado en un buen vino sudafricano.
