WAK Japan

Cultural exchange in Kyoto WAK Japan is a women's cooperative which offers tourists the opportunity to learn traditional arts from local housewives. My mother and I took the Ikebana (flower arranging) course. Our instructor was very skilled and able to explain this complex art in simple terms. We both had a go ourselves and with a few well placed adjustments by our instructor turned out two passable arrangements. My partner took the cooking course which he really enjoyed. We are now enjoying miso soup on a weekly basis.

El intercambio cultural en Kyoto Japón WAK es una cooperativa de mujeres, que ofrece a los turistas la oportunidad de aprender las artes tradicionales de amas de casa. Mi madre y yo hicimos el curso de Ikebana (arreglos florales). Nuestro instructor era muy hábil y capaz de explicar este arte complejo en términos simples. Ambos tuvimos un ir nosotros mismos y con algunos ajustes bien colocados por nuestro instructor resultado dos arreglos transitables. Mi pareja tomó el curso de cocina que realmente disfrutamos. Ahora estamos disfrutando de la sopa de miso sobre una base semanal.
